In the south of Germany, the community of interests "Stoiadler" work together on projects with the aim of producing equal-zero-emission power.
In May 2006 a photovoltaic plant was installed in the municipality of Großbettlingen, near Stuttgart, with a capacity of 26KWp. The plant was mounted on a road noise barrier that when connected contributes to the local power supply system. The cabling and connection of the photovoltaic modules was achieved with the Hirschmann SunCon System.

These devices are use in logistics, on assembly lines, in production and in materials handling to identify pallets, containers, component transporters, product carriers or monorail suspended conveyors. The lighting equipment plant "ELGO" from Gostynin is one of the largest Polish manufacturers of road, park, interior and industrial lighting. The company has been active in the lighting industry since its foundation in 1958. The high quality of the products is underlined by the certificate BS EN ISO 9001:2000. The first step in the project consisted of 1,000 specialist lights for the lighting of plants in greenhouses with 4000 CA-connector plugs from Hirschmann. The plugs support the high security class IP67.
